Pilot House, Upper Deck Forward: Excellent visibility
and a panoramic view is enjoyed while sitting on the large L-shape
leather-upholstered settee. This settee is situated on a 2-step
high elevated platform that optimizes sightlines. Passengers seated
at the makore table with walnut inlays can help chart the course
with the antique bronze floating compass recessed into the top under
flush glass. The leather-upholstered helm double bench seat was
also designed with subtle A & C detailing (as well as cup holders,
of course), and the base houses file drawers and a bookcase. The
pilotberth aft of the settee is configured most of the time with
a hinged ramp so the owners’ two English Springer spaniels
can conveniently walk down the ramp and out the dog door in the
aft bulkhead of the pilot house. The berth can also be pulled out
and filled in to convert to a full size bunk. |
